Position Details
Location: Liverpool, NY
Pay Rate: $21- $23 per hour

Position Summary We are seeking a vigilant, proactive, and highly adaptable Advanced Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will protect company property, assets, and personnel by conducting both mobile vehicle patrols and stationary monitoring. This position requires high technical comfort with surveillance systems and the physical resilience to handle diverse outdoor elements. Key Responsibilities

• Mobile & Roaming Patrols
  • Operate a company-provided patrol vehicle to monitor expansive perimeter routes.
  • Conduct regular, unpredictable roaming checks of gates, barriers, and vulnerable access points.
  • Maintain safe driving practices under all road and weather conditions.

• Communications & Surveillance (Comms Post)
  • Manage access-control systems to verify credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Monitor live CCTV feeds actively to detect, deter, and report suspicious activities or breaches.
  • Dispatch internal emergency responses and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, including access control
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents
  • Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and emergency services as needed

• Outdoor & Perimeter Security
  • Patrol designated outdoor zones on foot to ensure physical security integrity.
  • Operate comfortably outdoors during harsh winter conditions and low-visibility periods.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols by wearing required safety footwear and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in security (must have) or law enforcement preferred but not required
• OSHA 10 preferred
• CPR/First Aid preferred
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during shifts
• Good communication and observation skills
• Must meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements for security personnel

• Licensing & Records
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (essential for operating patrol vehicles).
  • Current state security guard license/certification.

• Technical Skills
  • Proven comfort and experience operating CCTV and access-control systems within a Comms or command center environment.
  • Ability to learn and navigate digital logging and incident reporting software quickly.

• Physical & Environmental Resilience
  • Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
  • Full capability and willingness to patrol outdoors during extreme winter weather.
  • Commitment to safety compliance, including the mandatory use of safety footwear and PPE.

Salary : $20.00 - $22.00
