Alliance Workforce is seeking an experienced Esko Technician to support prepress operations at a busy production facility in Largo, FL. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in Esko software, packaging design, and print production who enjoys troubleshooting and improving workflow efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate Esko software, including ArtPro, Automation Engine, DeskPack, and Imaging Engine.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to keep production running smoothly.
- Review and maintain prepress files to ensure accurate, high-quality output.
- Work with design, printing, and production teams to ensure artwork meets specifications.
- Assist with calibration and maintenance of Esko equipment, including CDI plate imagers.
- Improve workflow efficiency through automation and process improvements.
- Support team members with Esko software questions and best practices.
- Help integrate Esko systems with other printing and packaging technologies.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with Esko software, especially Automation Engine, ArtPro, and Imaging Engine.
- Strong understanding of prepress processes, packaging, and print production.
- Familiarity with color management, PDF, Adobe Illustrator (AI), and proofing techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and improve existing workflows.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform occasional light lifting of equipment or materials.
