Sansone Group, a full-service commercial and residential real estate firm, is seeking an experienced Part Time Assistant Property Manager to support one of our residential communities in St. Louis, MO.
This position assists in the management of a community operating under layered affordable housing programs, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit). The ideal candidate will have experience with affordable housing compliance, resident certifications, and property operations, along with a commitment to excellent resident service. Experience working with senior housing communities is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager with the daily operations of the property.
- Process certifications and recertifications, including income and asset verifications.
- Maintain compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and Project-Based Section 8 regulations.
- Assist with lease renewals, rent collection, and resident notices.
- Maintain accurate and organized resident files in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries and service requests.
- Help prepare for file audits, property inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Support a positive resident experience and community environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of residential property management experience, preferably in affordable housing.
- Experience working with LIHTC and/or Project-Based Section 8 programs.
- Knowledge of affordable housing compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Experience with property management software preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certifications such as COS, TCS, or other affordable housing credentials are a plus.
- Experience working with senior housing communities is a plus.
