Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone with well-rounded maintenance experience who can handle a variety of tasks to keep properties in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform a wide range of repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman work
- Troubleshoot and fix issues efficiently with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
- Handle day-to-day maintenance needs across multiple properties
Exterior & Grounds Maintenance
- Maintain outdoor areas including landscaping, grading, and general property appearance
- Address drainage issues and ensure proper upkeep of exterior spaces
Property Upkeep & Inspections
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Proactively address issues before they become larger problems
- Ensure properties remain safe, clean, and well-maintained
Unit Turnovers
- Prepare units for new tenants by completing repairs, touch-ups, and basic improvements
- Ensure units are move-in ready in a timely manner
Project Support
- Assist with small renovation projects and property improvements
- Coordinate with outside vendors when needed for larger or specialized work
Inventory & Supplies Management
- Identify commonly used materials and supplies needed for ongoing maintenance (e.g., paint, fixtures, hardware, filters, basic tools)
- Maintain organized inventory of supplies and ensure stock is replenished as needed
- Track usage and anticipate future needs to avoid delays in repairs
Qualifications
- Broad experience in property maintenance, handyman work, or similar field
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general home repairs
- Experience with landscaping, grading, or exterior property maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
