Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with facility management to implement energy-efficiency strategies and enhance the performance of electrical systems.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems as required by facility operations.
- Stay current with national, state, and local electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure full compliance.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize operational downtime.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on electrical components such as lighting systems, wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and panels.
- Inspect, service, and repair the facility’s electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring all work adheres to established safety standards.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and perform critical repairs to maintain safety and continuity of operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations, document findings, and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repair activities in line with company standards.
- Provide support in maintaining and repairing HVAC, plumbing, and other facility systems when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- Licensed Electrician (Valid).
- 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
- Experience in HVAC repair.
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code).
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
