We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general building maintenance across supported commercial facilities.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Complete preventive maintenance and repairs according to work orders, company procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Perform minor plumbing maintenance, including repairs to toilets, urinals, faucets, valves, automatic flush sensors, and related fixtures.
- Perform routine painting, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance to maintain facilities in like-new condition.
- Repair and maintain walls, floors, doors, and perform painting and touch-up work as needed.
- Perform minor electrical maintenance permitted under applicable state laws, including fixtures, switches, outlets, light bulbs, ballasts, and sockets.
- Complete service and asset inspections as needed.
- Use tablets, smartphones, and business systems to:
- Access and complete work orders and service notes
- Submit service reports and quality inspection documentation
- Submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs
- Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete assigned work.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and communicate effectively with customers and internal support teams.
- Complete required safety and compliance training and participate in weekly safety meetings.
- Provide estimates for larger projects and services when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
\n

- High school diploma, degree/certification, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- 2–5 years of general maintenance experience, including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Experience in one or more building trades such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, or specialty floor care is preferred.
- Commercial services experience highly preferred.
- Must possess applicable certifications/licenses and a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to read and understand safety policies, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
- Comfortable using handheld devices and business systems, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to complete work orders in a timely manner and communicate work order status.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
- Experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to travel locally between properties on a daily basis.
