Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Florence Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Florence, AL. As a key member of our facility's operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily functioning of our facility, allowing our residents and patients to receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities:
Painting Experience

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including janitorial duties, painting, and minor repairs

Assist with custodial services, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and equipment
-
Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues
-
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of services, including moving furniture and equipment as needed

Operate and maintain various equipment, including vending machines and medical devices

Restock supplies and materials throughout the facility

Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in maintenance or custodial services preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
