Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to support daily cleaning, sanitation, and facility upkeep in both office and production environments. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace, including common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and exterior building areas.
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain building areas by emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces
- Properly use cleaning chemicals and solutions while following safety procedures and wearing required PPE
- Operate floor scrubber machines as needed
- Clean and maintain parking lots, walkways, hallways, and entryways
- Follow SOPs for trash removal, recycling, and production waste disposal
- Respond promptly to cleaning and sanitation requests or issues
- Water plants inside the facility according to schedule
- Clean and maintain MOVCD lab area per instructions
- Inspect, stock, and replenish supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, utensils, coffee, etc.) in break rooms and restrooms
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or defective materials to supervisor
- Support cross-training and assist in other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6+ months of porter, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation techniques
- Strong punctuality and attendance record
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Strong organization and time-management skills
