Job Summary
A valuable member of our team, as a maintenance technician, you will work with the production department and production manager to ensure that all equipment is running safely and efficiently. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screening and MVR.
Job Responsibilities
- Repair and perform preventive maintenance for heavy industrial machinery and vehicles.
- Oil, grease, fill fluids and make adjustments on machinery to keep them running efficiently.
- Follow periodic maintenance instructions, procedures and schedules
- Complete maintenance logs and signoff sheets
- Perform equipment repairs.
- Assist with equipment installation.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical & Electrical experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift fifty pounds.
- Must be able to repetitively use hand tools.
- Must be able to climb steps, walk over uneven or obstructed surfaces.
- Must be able to work in a dirty, dusty, greasy, oily environment.
- Must be able to wear a respirator and dusk mask as required.
- Must be able to work in elevated areas.
