The Old Globe seeks a general maintenance technician with a background in building maintenance, to work for this award-winning, acclaimed regional theatre located in beautiful Balboa Park. Knowledge and experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and/or HVAC maintenance strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Responding to work requests
- Event set-up and take-down
- Appliance maintenance and repair
- Plumbing repair
- Preventive maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, including monitoring boiler and HVAC units
- Electrical work, including replacing and installing electrical components and equipment
- A proactive, self-starting approach is strongly preferred.

Schedule and Requirements:
Must be available to work regular schedule of Wednesday through Sunday, afternoons through late evening hours. Pay range is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. Must be able to pass a background check and have valid California Driver’s License, and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
