Job Summary:\n

\nRepairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.\n

Shift Times:\n

\n1st: 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday\n
\n
\n6:00am-2:30pm, Friday\n
\n
Essential Job Functions\n
\n
- \n
- Strong background in CNC machine repairs.
- Demag and various other crane repair knowledge.
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
- Repairs electrical equipment.
- Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications and Requirements\n
Required: High school education or equivalent. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. over shoulder height frequently. Must have vision correctable to at least 20/50 in one eye. Must be able to read numbers, letters, and a dial face clock. Must be able to speak and understand enough English to follow simple instructions.\n

Preferred: Two or more years' experience in manufacturing.\n

Proficiency and use of Software, equipment, machines, tools, electronic device necessary for job:\n
\nLathe, drill press, grinder, pneumatic tools, production machines, electronic equipment.
