Maintenance Technician – Property Management
Position Overview We’re seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across our residential properties. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and functional communities for our residents while delivering excellent customer service and timely repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across assigned properties
- Complete work orders efficiently and document all tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and building exteriors
- Assist with unit turns, including painting, minor repairs, and cleaning
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
- Communicate professionally with residents and property staff
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and property policies
Required Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in property management or a similar field
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Professional communication and customer‑service mindset
Preferred Skills
- HVAC certification (EPA Type I/II or Universal)
- Experience with property management software
- Carpentry or appliance repair experience
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
