Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities, identifying and addressing any maintenance or environmental concerns in a timely and efficient manner

  • Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and infection control in a long-term care facility.

  • Collaborate with other departments to address any environmental or maintenance issues that may arise

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and environmental schedules and protocols to minimize disruptions and optimize resources

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in healthcare environment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless operations

  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
