Position: RN-Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care.

• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during procedures.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac care and technology.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions.

• Contribute to a high-performance culture by achieving individual and team targets.

• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for each procedure.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the cardiac cath lab.

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab equipment.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and new team members.

Experience/Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiac cath lab procedures.

• Current RN license in the state of California.

• Proficiency in using cardiac catheterization lab equipment.

• Strong ability to monitor vitals and handle emergencies.

• Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.

• Commitment to staying updated with latest cardiac care advancements.

• Ability to work effectively in a high-performance and target-driven environment.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Experience in maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.

• Strong understanding of hospital policies and regulatory compliance.
