ABW Technologies is looking for a custodian. Custodian duties include keeping the building and grounds in clean and orderly condition, including and not limited to cleaning floors, kitchens, break rooms and bathrooms for three buildings; washing interior/exterior windows, and emptying garbage and recycling containers.
May include maintenance and repair of building, minor and routine painting, cleaning snow and debris from sidewalks. To be successful, the ideal candidate will need excellent interpersonal and planning and organizing skills, following instructions and taking direction; accuracy and thoroughness, observes safety and security, punctual attendance, initiative and sound judgement.
Requires six months to one year related experience and/or training, ability to read and comprehend basic instruction, write correspondence, intermediate math skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Must be able to occasionally list and/or move up to 25 pounds and ability to perform duties with close vision and depth perception in a loud environment with exposure to moving mechanical part and fumes or airborne particles in a shop environment.
