Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of process equipment.
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on equipment.</li>
<li>Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks (i.e., cleaning, inspection, and lubrication) as necessary</li>
<li>Thoroughly document maintenance activity using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues, and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.</li>
<li>Lifting tools or parts weighing between 20–50 lbs during troubleshooting. An example where this would apply is for roasting maintenance.</li>
<li>Assembly and reassembly of equipment as needed</li>
<li>Standing for extended periods in some instances</li>
</ul>
