Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Facility Manager to lead the operation and maintenance of our 1,000-employee manufacturing facility in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in facility management, infrastructure planning, and environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our physical environment to support manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Facility Management (70%)
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building structure.

Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective facility services.

Lead capital improvement projects related to plant infrastructure, utilities, and space planning.

Develop and manage facility budgets, including utilities, repairs, and capital expenditures.

Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and standards.

Support space planning and office/floor reconfigurations based on business needs.

EHS Compliance & Programs (30%)
Serve as the site lead for all EHS programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.

Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills.

Lead incident investigations and drive corrective/preventive actions.

Coordinate safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Maintain and report EHS metrics (TRIR, DART, near misses) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Occupational Safety, or related field.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in facility management in a large-scale manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and local/state building codes.

Experience managing EHS programs, including audits, training, and compliance reporting.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and large budgets.

Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor management skills.

Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office.

Professional certifications such as CFM, CHFM, OSHA 30, or CSP preferred.

Working Conditions:
Full-time on-site position with regular walking across the manufacturing floor.

Must be available for emergency situations and facility-related incidents outside of regular hours as needed.
