As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, adjusting, and repairing production equipment and special-purpose machines. You will operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and change parts to complete tasks. Your role includes testing malfunctioning machinery, determining necessary repairs, and collaborating with the head mechanic for approval. Additionally, you will be tasked with installing equipment and electrical components, testing them to ensure proper functioning, dismantling equipment to access and remove defective parts, and lubricating and cleaning parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Responsibilities
- Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special-purpose machines.
- Operate hand and power tools to perform repairs, greasing, welding, cutting, and part replacements.
- Test malfunctioning machinery, determine necessary repairs, and discuss with head mechanic.
- Install equipment and electrical components, ensuring proper functioning.
- Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and tools.
- Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, industrial maintenance, and repair.
- Skills in welding and electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in performing repairs and preventative maintenance in a concrete pre-casting facility.

Work Environment
The position is within a manufacturing facility that may be dusty, hot, cold, and dirty. The environment includes large bay doors for air circulation. The role requires flexibility for shift work, primarily 80% dayshift and 20% night shift, with hours ranging from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and from 3:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 1:00 am or 4:00 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
