Facilities Maintenance Technician – $28/hr | Day Shift
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | $28.00/hour
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems and manufacturing equipment.

What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler, and steam systems
- Complete general building maintenance and repairs
- Perform pipe threading and bending
- Perform basic welding and insulation work
- Assist with painting, plastering, light construction, and facility upkeep
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Work around PLC-controlled machinery
- Identify equipment or facility issues and take appropriate corrective action
- Complete additional maintenance projects as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous facilities, industrial, manufacturing, or building maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, or similar trades is highly preferred
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to workplace and equipment safety
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in different areas of the facility
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment with varying noise levels
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- May work in areas where chemical materials are present
