Maintenance Technician
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our building and equipment systems by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance.
Duties
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on facility equipment, including: HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building interior components
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment
Conduct basic carpentry, painting, and other handyman tasks to support building maintenance needs
Maintain plumbing systems through repair and preventive measures
Lead small maintenance projects and coordinate with contractors when necessary
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues with facility equipment and perform scheduled preventive maintenance
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all maintenance activities
Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems as needed
Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to resident requests for repairs or maintenance issues.
Any additional tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager or Facility Nurse
Requirements
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Monday - Friday 8am-12pm
