Position Summary
A confidential manufacturing company in San Bernardino is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a first-shift, temp-to-hire opportunity. This position focuses primarily on mechanical maintenance, with additional support for facility maintenance. Overtime opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on mechanical maintenance and repairs to support manufacturing operations.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems with equipment.
- Support routine facility maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance and communicate repair needs to the team.
- Use tools and equipment safely and maintain an organized work area.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, facility maintenance, or a related maintenance role.
- Practical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to use common maintenance tools and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Availability for first shift and overtime.
- Reliable attendance and clear communication with the maintenance team.
Compensation & Conversion Opportunity
- Base pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity. After conversion to the client, weekly production bonuses may bring average earnings closer to $35.00-$40.00 per hour. Actual bonus earnings depend on production results and are not guaranteed.
- Overtime opportunities are available.
Work Environment
On-site manufacturing and facility maintenance work. Specific equipment, physical demands, PPE requirements, and shift hours will be reviewed during the hiring process.
