Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform both mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations within our facility.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment.
Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service tasks.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Perform plumbing maintenance and electrical functions as required.
Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report unusual situations to supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
3+ years of experience in preventative maintenance.
3+ years of experience in blueprint reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
High School Diploma or GED.
5 years of maintenance experience in a high-speed production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficient in using hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

Work within a GMP food manufacturing company specializing in custom meats, operating in refrigerated areas with temperatures ranging from 30-40 degrees. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
