Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, lighting, and plumbing.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior maintenance staff.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts as needed.
