Job DescriptionAltus Fire & Life Safety is a full-service fire and life safety services platform. We offer a complete suite of solutions, from the design, engineering, installation, and servicing of state-of-the-art fire and life safety systems to training, consulting, crisis management and business continuity services.

LHR Fire Protection, part of the Altus Fire & Life Safey family of companies, is looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team! As a Fire Alarm Technician, you would be responsible for Fire Alarm installation, inspection, maintenance, service, and repair. The role will require driving, completion of physical and digital documentation/paperwork, and customer service. The role will require moderate lifting and pulling. You will need to be able to work in confined spaces as well as climb up and down ladders. This is a full-time position. Most of the work will be completed Monday through Friday between the hours of 5:00am and 4:00pm. We do support 24/7 emergency service as well as overtime as needed, so you must be able to support work outside the standard times and on weekends as required.

Hourly Rate: $21.00/hour - $42.00Responsibilities

  • Fire alarm installation, inspection, service, and repair
  • Pick up and delivery of needed material
  • Driving to job locations
  • Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and warehouse area
  • Attend a monthly foreman’s meeting
  • Be available to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to follow outline floor plans and fire alarm designs
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Class D Electrical license or NICET is preferred.
  • A self-motivated attitude is necessary.
  • Must perform neat and professional work.
  • Ability to stay organized and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise in Microsoft Excel and Work.
  • Regular attendance is expected.
