Position Overview

This is an ON-CALL, AS-NEEDED POSITION. It is NOT a guaranteed part-time or full-time schedule.
Work assignments are dependent on incoming customer service requests and work orders. Some weeks may have multiple assignments, while others may have little or no work.
We are looking for reliable, experienced individuals who understand this arrangement and are comfortable accepting work as opportunities become available.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income, flexible work opportunities, or the possibility of growing with a developing company.
Responsibilities
- Complete commercial and residential maintenance work orders.
- Perform general handyman repairs, drywall patching, painting, minor carpentry, fixture installation, and other approved maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify appropriate repair solutions.
- Document completed work with clear before-and-after photographs.
- Communicate professionally with management and customers.
- Provide accurate updates on job progress and any additional repairs needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Complete assigned work within established timelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or facility maintenance.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Access to basic hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to travel to assigned job locations throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respond promptly to assignment requests.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Professional appearance and customer-service skills.
- Willingness to follow company procedures for documentation, communication, and work completion.
Expectations
We take reliability and professionalism seriously.
- Communication is essential. Technicians must respond promptly when contacted about potential assignments.
- Commitment matters. Once an assignment is accepted, technicians are expected to arrive on time and complete the agreed-upon work.
- Accountability is required. Missed appointments, failure to communicate, or repeated last-minute cancellations may result in removal from future assignment consideration.
- Quality is non-negotiable. All work must meet company expectations for safety, workmanship, and professionalism.
- Availability must be communicated honestly. We understand that technicians may have other commitments. We simply expect clear communication about availability.

While consistent hours cannot currently be guaranteed, dependable technicians who demonstrate strong workmanship, professionalism, and reliability may be considered for increased assignments and future part-time or full-time positions as business demand grows.
