About the Opportunity

\n
We're hiring a hands-on, customer-focused manager to lead our brand-new car wash in Pittsburgh. You'll build and coach a team, deliver excellent customer experiences, grow sales through wash packages and unlimited monthly memberships, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Car wash experience is a plus, but management experience in other customer-facing industries is welcome.

What You'll Do
\n
\n

- Lead the team: Hire, train, schedule, and coach a team of 5 employees while maintaining strong performance and shift coverage.
- Drive sales: Engage customers, explain wash options, promote unlimited monthly memberships, and coach employees on upselling.
- Deliver great service: Be visible and approachable, anticipate customer needs, and resolve concerns.
- Own daily operations: Keep the property clean, check equipment, monitor supplies and chemical inventory, and coordinate maintenance.
- Manage performance: Monitor staffing and labor costs while identifying ways to improve sales, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This is an active management role. You'll occasionally handle hands-on tasks such as cleaning tunnel walls, clearing blocked vacuums, and addressing basic operational issues.

What We're Looking For
\n
\n
- \n
- At least 2 years of management experience involving hiring, training, and supervising employees. Experience leading a team of six or more is strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
- A proactive, observant approach to problem-solving.
- Good organizational skills and experience managing schedules.
- Willingness to work outdoors and help with hands-on tasks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Weekend availability and flexibility to work opening and closing shifts.

Relevant backgrounds include retail, hospitality, restaurants, automotive services, fitness centers, membership-based businesses, convenience stores, and facilities or property operations. Car wash experience is not required.
