<p>This job opening is for someone who wants to support the environment of a small community of faculty and students. The grounds are beautiful and include mature trees, classroom gardens, and varied areas of grass. Comfort with weed eaters, blowers, mowing tractors, chain saws and lawn mowers is required. The day ideally starts at 7am and concludes at 3pm. There is some flexibility in that schedule. Daily tasks vary, depending on the weather and physical plant or grounds needs. </p>

<p>Counterpane is a well established Montessori school on 14 acres with 3 donkeys, 10 chickens, a tortoise, a rabbit, a dog and a feral cat. The landscaping is around the school. Most of the acreage is left natural.</p>
