What You'll Do
As a Mr. Handyman Professional, you’ll:
- Complete small to medium repairs and maintenance for commercial properties (typically 2-hour to 2-day jobs)
- Communicate clearly with customers, set expectations, and make recommendations
- Deliver top-notch service that builds long-term customer relationships
- Follow the Mr. Handyman Way – our proven system for consistent, high-quality service
How Success Is Measured
We track performance through:
- Customer satisfaction (NPS scores)
- Revenue goals – upsell and provide comprehensive solutions
- Effective billing rate – accurate, efficient, and timely invoicing
- Low recall rate – get the job done right the first time
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Willingness to learn and follow proven systems
- Strong communication and self-management skills
- Professional appearance and attention to detail
- Comfortable using technology and documenting jobs
Basic Requirements
- 8+ years of paid handyman experience
- Own a full set of tools
- Clean driving record and insurable
- Pass a background check
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
- Live locally and be ready to hit the ground running
Preferred Skills
- Carpentry (rough and finish)
- Painting (interior/exterior)
- Drywall repair and installation
- Basic plumbing and electrical
- Flooring installation and repair
- Familiarity with local building codes
Compensation & Benefits
- $50,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and skills
