Evening Project Cleaner
Redefine Facility Cleaning is a locally owned cleaning company based in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC. We’re looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our team as an Evening Project Cleaner.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working independently, and seeing the results of a job well done. You’ll work on a variety of commercial cleaning projects, using professional equipment and techniques to help keep our customers’ facilities looking their best.
Position Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends
- Shift: 5:00 PM–1:00 AM
- Starting Pay: $18/hour
- Location: Asheville, NC 28803 and surrounding areas
- Work Location: In person
What You'll Do
As an Evening Project Cleaner, you’ll work on a variety of specialized commercial cleaning projects. Responsibilities may include:
- Perform specialized floor care, including VCT floor maintenance, tile and grout cleaning, and carpet cleaning
- Operate commercial floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
- Complete project-based cleaning assignments efficiently and thoroughly
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines
- Work independently and maintain productivity without direct supervision
- Load, transport, clean, and maintain equipment and supplies
- Keep equipment in good working condition and report any issues
- Travel between job sites as needed
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence at customer locations

Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong reliability, work ethic, and self-discipline
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
- Comfortable operating or learning to operate commercial cleaning equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to consistently work evening/night hours
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Extra Skills? Even Better!
The following experience is not required, but would be a big plus:
- Experience operating floor care equipment
- Previous commercial cleaning experience
- Experience with carpet cleaning
- Experience with VCT floor maintenance
- Ability to safely drive a truck and trailer
