Porter/Maintenance Opening at Inglemoor Rehabilitation and Care Center
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to fill our Porter/Maintenance position at Inglemoor Rehabilitation and Care Center, a 5-Star facility located in Livingston, New Jersey. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients and residents receive the highest level of care and comfort.
About the Role:
As a Porter/Maintenance staff member, you will be responsible for preparing new admissions by ensuring rooms are clean and organized, and all equipment is functioning properly. Your duties will also include cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and other work areas, replenishing bathroom supplies, and dusting furniture and equipment. You will also be required to attend all in-services as needed by the NJ DOHSS and perform other duties as assigned to support patient/resident quality of care and quality of life.
Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare patient/resident rooms for new admissions

Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, and restrooms

Replenish bathroom supplies and dust furniture and equipment

Attend in-services as required by the NJ DOHSS

Perform other duties as assigned to support patient/resident care and quality of life

Be able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds of weight and assist with emergency resident transports and transfers
Requirements:

Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English

Ability to interact tactfully with elderly residents and their families

Ability to lift, transfer, and transport residents in emergency situations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability to work a part-time schedule (PART_TIME)
