Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers' training program.
- 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment.
- Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintains, inspects, repairs, moves, and/or installs plant machinery and equipment.
- Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
- Inspection of condition and operation of plant equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
- Disassembles and repairs production equipment by replacing worn or broken parts.
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.
