EXPERIENCE:
We are currently seeking a custodial laborer to support daily operations in our machine shop. This role assists with facility cleaning/upkeep, property grounds upkeep, material handling, equipment movement, pick up/drop off parts, and general shop support.
OVERVIEW:
- Self-motivated
- General cleaning: Sweeping/mopping/cleaning surfaces and organizing inside/outside, including lawn maintenance
- Painting equipment and parts as needed
- Able to move equipment, materials, and parts throughout the shop
- Perform local pickups and deliveries as needed
- Supports shop personnel as needed
- Ability to adapt in changing priorities and environment
- Adheres to the safety and health rules and safe working practices applicable to his or her job
- Performs additional related duties as assigned
- Regular and reliable attendance and performance are required
Physical Requirement: Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds maximum with assistance. Frequently lift, carry and manipulate up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, kneeling and occasional climbing on 12 foot ladders and scaffolding. Works around fumes, odors and dust in an occasionally high noise level environment with appropriate personal protective equipment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm
- Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
