Structural Bridge Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
Job Description Your day at Curtis Contracting
Sunrise finds you on the bridge deck, setting the pace for a safe, efficient workday. You open with a safety huddle, align the crew to Curtis Contracting policies, procedures, and values, then move into a tightly sequenced plan: confirm materials and equipment availability, walk the site ahead of inspections, and touch base with each subcontractor and vendor to keep schedules and compliance on track.
As the field leader, you orchestrate logistics across multiple tasks—bridge structure work, lane access, equipment staging, and deliveries—while maintaining quality standards. You communicate clear performance expectations, provide coaching in the moment, and when necessary, administer corrective or disciplinary actions to keep the project moving safely and productively.
What you’ll lead
- Safe, productive field operations with an unwavering focus on compliance and quality.
- On-site supervision consistent with Curtis Contracting policies, procedures, and values.
- Planning and logistics for bridge work: scheduling, inspections, equipment, materials, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
- Field team leadership, including performance expectations, guidance, and disciplinary action as needed.
What you bring
- 5–7+ years in the construction industry, with hands-on bridge structure experience as a Foreman, Superintendent, or Lead.
- Demonstrated construction leadership in active field environments.
- Strength in scheduling, inspections, and compliance management.
- Clear, confident communication with crews, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors.
Compliance
Drug Test/Screening, Reference Checks, OSHA 10 certification, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and construction leadership experience.
