Role Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimal functioning of industrial ovens, chemical tanks, waste water and associated equipment at PPS. These full-time maintenance roles are based in Fairborn, OH and Batesville, OH. with primary work performed on-site and some tasks, such as documentation and coordination, completed from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine inspections, conducting preventive maintenance, and completing repairs to minimize downtime. The technician will review technical documentation, maintain accurate maintenance records, coordinate with production and engineering teams, and follow established safety procedures. The role also involves supporting equipment installations, assisting with upgrades, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.\n

- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Background in Industrial Maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Working knowledge of safety standards and best practices for industrial settings.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or industrial technology preferred.
- Comfort with basic computer use for maintenance logs, work orders, and email communication.
- Capability to lift moderate weights, use hand and power tools safely, and work around industrial equipment.
