We have a permanent/direct-hire opening for a Facilities Manager to independently run day-to-day operations for a multi-building, multi-tenant portfolio for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Building systems and vendors: HVAC/RTUs, fire/life safety, docks & overhead doors, roofs, pavement, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and snow
- Preventive maintenance, AppFolio work orders, and ClickUp task/project tracking
- Vendor bidding, contracts, quality control, repairs, and capital projects
- Property operating and capital budgets, invoices, and spend tracking
- Code/ADA/life-safety compliance and after-hours emergency response
- Primary on-site contact for tenant maintenance needs
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial facilities, property operations, or building engineering (industrial/small-bay strongly preferred)
- Hands-on systems knowledge plus vendor and budget management
- AppFolio and ClickUp (or similar)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and after-hours/on-call availability
- Comfortable on-site: inspections, walking roofs, working with trades
Preferred: FMA/FMP, CPM, RPA, OSHA 10/30, Milwaukee industrial market familiarity.
