Real Estate

Job Description

THE POSITION

\n

Every Young Moms Together success story is a young mother's story: a teenager who arrives unsure and, years later, leaves with her diploma, her baby, and a future she built and a community that showed up for her. The Director of Client Care is the leader who ensures the most basic promise is kept: a safe, stable place to live. This role leads Young Moms Together's stable housing programming under Priority One of the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, from licensed residential care to individualized, community-based living and rental support programs.

\n

\n

In practical terms, this role oversees the day-to-day functioning, safety, and quality of every housing site and housing model; supervises a team of up to ten (10) direct-care staff; owns the housing program budget, policies, standards, and staffing plans; and monitors the provision and quality of services to participants to ensure they are family centered, strengths based, trauma informed, culturally responsive, and fully compliant with licensing requirements. The Director completes participant assessments, supports individualized care plans, audits case records, and responds to participant feedback and complaints.

\n

\n

The Director is also Young Moms Together's primary relationship manager with the South Carolina Department of Social Services managing the referrals, placements, contracts, and licensing relationships that bring young families into care, and partnering with the Director of Operations to follow all licensing and compliance across all housing programs, including applications, renewals, inspections, audits, and corrective action. The role coordinates with every other part of the organization so that housing is never a separate program but the foundation for a young family's whole journey.
