Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter / Maintenance Worker to join the staff of a well-established residential cooperative community located in Little Neck, Queens.

The property is a professionally managed residential complex with multiple common areas and building amenities. The porter will work as part of the on-site maintenance team and will be responsible for helping maintain the cleanliness, appearance, safety, and general condition of the property.

The position is primarily focused on general building maintenance and cleaning, including maintaining common areas, assisting with routine maintenance needs, handling basic upkeep throughout the property, and responding to day-to-day building needs as directed by management and supervisory staff.

Some weekend work is required on a rotating basis, so applicants should have flexibility in their availability.

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting pay of $18.00 per hour
$0.50 per hour increase after 3 months
Enrollment in **UFCW Local 2013
Union benefits in accordance with eligibility requirements

The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable performing both cleaning and general maintenance duties. Prior experience working as a porter, building maintenance employee, janitor, custodian, or in a similar residential property position is REQUIRED.
