Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist with pediatric and school-based experience is needed for a contract position supporting students in grades 8 through 12. This role is ideal for candidates holding a current Delaware license with at least one year of school-based experience. The opportunity offers 25 hours per week during the NSY, providing valuable mentorship through an advisory SLP to support professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pediatric SLP experience
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in K-12 school settings
- Valid Delaware licensure to practice in schools
Location:
- Wilmington, Delaware
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades 8-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings related to student services and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
