Assistant Property Caretaker

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

\n
• Assist Property Manager with duties necessary to maintain properties in a neat, presentable, well-maintained manner

\n

• Communicate with Property Manager regarding daily priorities and task completion

\n

• Perform handyman repairs and light duty construction on properties and equipment

\n

• Grounds and landscaping maintenance including mowing, pruning, weeding and trimming

\n

• Detailed cleaning and maintenance of outdoor spaces

\n

• Pool maintenance and cleaning

\n

• Car detailing and fueling

\n

• Organize and clean garages, attics and outdoor storage areas

\n

• Manage trash collection, packages and keep common areas cleaned and stocked

\n

• Keep staff workspaces, UTV’s, tools and equipment organized and cleaned

\n

• Ensure driveways and walkways are kept in a safe condition, including snow and ice removal

\n

• Perform janitorial duties as necessary

\n

• Assist other household staff as needed on a priority basis, including moving furniture, heavy objects, seasonal lighting, and other projects

\n

\n

REQUIREMENTS

\n

\n
• Previous landscaping/grounds experience, including knowledge regarding proper care and maintenance of lawn, trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. is preferred

\n

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

\n

• High attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and follow-through of daily routines

\n

• Enjoy a hands-on, service-oriented position

\n

• Ability to lift 30 pounds to a maximum height of 6 feet, including occasional lifting up to 80 pounds

\n

• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and remain standing and walking on feet for lengthy periods of time

\n

• Ability to safely operate power machinery and lawn care tools such as mowers, edgers, clippers, skid steer, snow plow, etc.

\n

• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions

\n
