As a Sales Specialist, you will lead the sales and leasing function at one of our Active Adult (55+) communities. Reporting to the Community Manager, you will help us achieve our mission of building community.
What You'll Do
Lead sales and leasing

Lead the community's marketing, leasing, and sales strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals, delivering a high-quality prospect experience through lead qualification and nurturing, impactful tours, and thoughtful follow-up.

Qualify prospects and conduct tours, building strong relationships to understand their expectations and needs.

Maintain a strong understanding of local comps and our unique differentiators and value proposition.

Use CRM software to document and respond to all leads promptly, with personalized follow-up that nurtures relationships and builds prospect interest.

Use Yardi to monitor apartment availability, qualify prospects, and manage leasing activity.
Market the community

Execute outreach marketing events to generate new leads and drive traffic to the community.

Manage the community's social media accounts to promote its lifestyle and events.
Deliver an exceptional experience

Ensure the community meets company show-quality standards by inspecting daily and communicating needs to the maintenance team.

Provide hospitable, high-quality service to create a memorable experience for everyone.

Prepare the office for daily leasing activities and assist with daily operations to support the team.

Drive resident satisfaction and retention through exemplary service and our Lifestyle & Engagement program, built on three pillars: Strengthen Your Body, Sharpen Your Mind, and Share Your Gifts. This includes sales event setup and teardown and encouraging participation from prospects, residents, and ambassadors.
Upon community stabilization, you will also:

Attend monthly planning sessions with the Regional Lifestyle & Engagement Lead.

Expand your event coordination scope to include community events, as well as sales events, including setup and teardown.

Organize event supplies and manage on-site vendor relationships.
Qualifications
Required
-
High school diploma and a valid driver's license.
-
3+ years of professional sales experience.
-
Experience with Yardi or other property management software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Proactive approach to outreach marketing, including networking, attending events, and managing social media.

Effective communication skills and the ability to build collaborative partnerships.

Reliable transportation and flexibility to work a regular Tuesday-Saturday schedule, plus nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
Preferred
-
Experience with lease-up properties in multifamily housing, Active Adult, or hospitality.
Physical Requirements

Ability to access all exterior and interior areas of the property and amenities.

Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
