About the Role:
A&M Joint Venture, LLC is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to provide custodial services at the Child Development Center (CDC) located at Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for children, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will take pride in providing high-quality cleaning services while working in a secure federal facility.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (Evening Time)
- Employment Type: Part time
- Location: Pine Bluff Arsenal, AR
- Pay: 17.75/hr plus Health and Welfare benefits in accordance with the Service Contract Act
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, vacuum, and wet mop floors.
- Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, urinals, and fixtures.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Restock soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and other restroom supplies.
- Clean glass, mirrors, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances and hallways.
- Follow Child Development Center sanitation requirements.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues and supply shortages to the Site Supervisor.
- Perform all work in accordance with contract requirements and safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Must be able to successfully obtain access to Pine Bluff Arsenal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience cleaning schools, child care facilities, medical facilities, or government buildings.
- Experience using commercial custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals.
