Location: Woodside, CA.
Pay: $29.00 per hour.
Position: Event Security Officer – Unarmed.
Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG) is hiring professional and dependable Unarmed Event Security Officers for events in Woodside, CA. We are looking for experienced security professionals who are reliable, well-presented, alert, and comfortable working in event environments. This position involves maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere while providing professional and courteous service to guests, staff, and clients.
Responsibilities:

• Provide unarmed security coverage for events.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated event areas.
• Assist with access control and guest verification.
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Assist with crowd management when needed.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
• Communicate with event staff, supervisors, and other security personnel.
• Complete incident reports when required.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.

Qualifications:

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card required.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience required.
• Event, corporate, executive protection, or hospitality security experience is a plus.
• Must be professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must have reliable transportation to Woodside, CA.
• Must meet all applicable employment and security licensing requirements.

Schedule:Event-based scheduling. Hours and shifts may vary depending on event needs. Candidates should have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
