Security Officer
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to provide vigilant and professional security services at our site located at 6600 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA. This role is essential in maintaining a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property.
Position Details
Location: Throughout the Savannah Area, Midway, GA 31320, USA
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles to maintain security of the premises
• Patrol assigned areas regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or disturbances
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Maintain daily activity logs and prepare incident reports as required
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Provide assistance and ensure a safe environment for all personnel and visitors
Qualifications
• Must have a valid security officer license as required by Georgia state law, or the ability to obtain one
• Previous experience in security or related field preferred
• Good observational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
Salary : $15.00-17.00 per hour
