Come join us!Job SummaryReports to Plant Manager, the Maintenance Technician's main function is to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to Safety, GMP and Preventive Maintenance Systems and ProcessesResponsibilitiesConduct preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities, as well as scheduled and emergency repairs of production equipment during productionPerform simple machinist duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders as well as follow sketches and diagrams to perform required maintenance and servicePerform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functionsUse and maintain accountability for a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing dutiesDetect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to the proper supervisorEducation and Experience2-year technical degree in maintenance related field or 3 years relevant experience.Basic electrical knowledge.The ability to safely use all basic hand tools as well as various power equipment including packaging machines, forklift, pallet jack, high reach order picker, and scissor lift.Basic computer skills including data entry.Ability to learn new software.Ability to read schematics.Core CompetenciesThis position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.Manual dexterity.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to read schematicsAbility to work safely and effectively in a warehouse environment and in outside yard operations.Ability to safely operate various power equipment including packaging machines, fork lift, pallet jack, high reach order picker, and scissor lift.Ability to work from heights.Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.Lift, push and/or move items up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.Compensation We provide an amazing benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more!
