About the Role:
JANI-CORE LLC is looking for a motivated and dependable Janitorial Working Lead to join our team in Dallas, TX! This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll keep facilities spotless while guiding a crew of cleaning professionals to deliver top-tier results. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise janitorial staff during cleaning shifts across assigned facilities
- Perform hands-on cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to company quality standards and client expectations
- Train and mentor team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, reporting inventory needs to management
- Conduct walkthroughs and quality inspections before shift completion
- Communicate any facility issues, maintenance concerns, or staff matters to supervisors
Requirements:
- Prior janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience required
- Previous lead, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and OSHA safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a team
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
