Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Schedule Note: Will float between sister properties as needed (no set daily location)

BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and motivated Make‑Ready Technician to support apartment communities in Akron, OH (44313). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, variety in their daily routine, and assisting multiple properties as operational needs arise.

Position Overview

The Make‑Ready Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently move between sister properties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform apartment make‑ready duties including cleaning, painting touch‑ups, and minor repairs
• Prepare units for move‑in to ensure quality and readiness standards are met
• Replace fixtures, hardware, blinds, and light bulbs as needed
• Identify and report maintenance concerns to on‑site staff
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Travel between sister properties based on daily needs

Qualifications

• Previous make‑ready, maintenance, or apartment experience preferred
• Basic skills in cleaning, painting, and light repairs
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with work locations
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
