Cleanest Restaurant Group specializes in professional restaurant and commercial kitchen cleaning. Our standard is simple: when we leave a facility, we want the client to say, “Wow, I didn’t know it could look that good.”
We’re looking for an experienced, dependable cleaner to join our team on an as-needed/on-call basis as our business continues to grow.
Schedule & Hours
This is not currently a position with guaranteed weekly hours. Cleaning shifts are offered as jobs become available, with most work taking place at night or overnight after businesses close.
When a shift becomes available, you’ll be contacted with the date, time, location, and expected length of the job. You are free to accept or decline individual shifts based on your availability.
Once you agree to work a shift, however, we expect you to be dependable, arrive on time, and complete the job to company standards.
This position is a great fit for someone who already has another job, has a flexible schedule, or wants to pick up additional cleaning work without committing to a fixed weekly schedule.
Pay
Starting pay: $15/hour
There is potential for increased pay as you demonstrate reliability, cleaning ability, efficiency, and the ability to take on additional responsibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
Our work goes beyond basic janitorial cleaning. Depending on the job, tasks may include:
- Scrubbing and sanitizing restaurant and commercial kitchen floors
- Removing grease and buildup from surfaces
- Wiping and detailing stainless steel equipment
- Cleaning walls, baseboards, doors, and other high-touch areas
- Vacuuming carpets and floor mats
- Removing trash and debris
- Dusting and cleaning elevated surfaces using step ladders
- Moving or working around restaurant equipment
- Following detailed cleaning checklists and company standards
- Identifying areas that need additional attention rather than simply cleaning what is obvious
Restaurant cleaning can be dirty work. You should be comfortable working around grease, food residue, dirty floors, and commercial kitchen environments.
What We’re Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone who:
- Has previous professional cleaning experience
- Has a strong eye for detail
- Notices grease, buildup, corners, edges, and areas other cleaners may overlook
- Takes pride in producing a noticeable before-and-after difference
- Is comfortable working primarily at night and overnight
- Is not afraid of getting dirty or tackling greasy commercial kitchens
- Can work independently without needing constant supervision
- Is reliable and communicates well
- Shows up on time for shifts they have agreed to work
- Is honest, trustworthy, and respectful inside our clients’ facilities
- Can handle moderate physical work, including standing, bending, scrubbing, lifting equipment, and using step ladders
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work overnight shifts when accepted
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of commercial cleaning
- Authorized to work in the United States
