Job Description

  • Provide personalized medical nutrition therapy, assessing residents with acute and chronic conditions
  • Educate and empower residents with tailored nutrition plans to enhance their well-being
  • Collaborate with a skilled team, including nursing, dietary staff, speech-language pathologists, and medical professionals
  • Monitor and assess residents with weight changes, enteral feeding, dialysis, and wounds, ensuring optimal care
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition intervention plans aligned with the Nutrition Care Process
  • Offer compassionate counseling to residents, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique learning needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field required; Master’s preferred
  • State Dietitian licensure required
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience
  • Familiarity with PointClickCare and the MDS process is a plus
