Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support and maintain a state-of-the-art, high-precision CNC manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment reliability and uptime for CNC machining centers, turning centers, multi-axis machines, automated material handling systems, and facility support equipment. The role requires serving as the technical leader for complex troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives that support world-class manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, grinders, and other precision manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, spindle, lubrication, and coolant systems.
- Troubleshoot CNC controls, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo amplifiers, sensors, encoders, and industrial networks.
- Maintain and repair machine tool components including ball screws, linear guideways, automatic tool changers (ATCs), pallet changers, chip conveyors, coolant filtration systems, and hydraulic power units.
- Perform machine alignments, leveling, backlash verification, spindle analysis, ball bar analysis, and accuracy checks to maintain tight machining tolerances.
- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize machine availability and extend equipment life.
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Support machine installations, relocations, retrofits, and capital equipment projects.
- Assist Engineering and Manufacturing teams during process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product launches.
- Maintain maintenance documentation, work orders, spare parts inventory, and equipment history using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Work closely with Quality and Production teams to minimize downtime while maintaining product quality requirements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety practices, and company safety standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
