Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support operations within a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventative and predictive maintenance, completing repairs, documenting work in the ERP system, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently to meet daily production goals. The ideal candidate is consistent, safety-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced production environments.
Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Perform preventative (PM) and predictive maintenance on facility machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment operating primarily on mechanical principles
- Repair and replace conveyor belts and related material handling systems
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and restoring equipment to operational status
- Turn off, lock out, and tag out equipment when not in use or during service
- Complete and document maintenance activities in the company ERP system
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation
- Notify the Manager or Supervisor of equipment malfunctions, needed repairs, or safety concerns
- Follow all safety, quality, and food safety guidelines and procedures
Basic Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting required
- Experience completing preventative maintenance (PMs) required
- Experience documenting performed maintenance in an ERP system required
- Must be reliable and demonstrate consistent attendance
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions (warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, slippery surfaces, varied heights, and around moving equipment)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior machine operating experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility
- Prior maintenance experience in food manufacturing
- Continuous work history within the last 12 months
